This book is god awful, and I feel that its publication is a kind of scam. It is no thicker than a doctor's office booklet, and major cities and destination get 1-4 pages of the most general and largely useless coverage. Now that I look at the 4 and 5 star reviews they mostly seem cooked, too. What the? It is too bad that a purchaser of this seemingly sham guidebook, who really wants to set off for a great trip to China, has to be greeted by a scam even before leaving home. I'm returning the book. And I have never before returned another book in my life, though I buy many.
I should’ve read the description better; this book is a generic travel guide, with basically no useful information. There are many grammatical error’s and outdated information in what could be used as a child’s introduction to China in general, if it did not contain the errors. There are infinitely better books out there for this price or less.
