I was initially worried about organic as a whole after hearing how it is one of the hardest undergraduate courses in college. This was the required book by our professor. I have had this book for about 1.5 months now and I have to say my worries of organic are lessened greatly. This book isn't vague in its descriptions, explanations, or example problems at all. I am a chemical engineering student so I have had a few textbooks that were absolutely awful and were pretty much useless since the content can be extremely difficult at times. I would highly recommend buying the solutions manual with this book. It has detailed explanations of every single EOC problem...not just the odd numbered ones.

The content does not change much between different textbooks, but I dislike it due to the organization. There is very much highlighting and bold words and margin notes, which overwhelm and confuse the reader, but there is a nice summary at the end of each chapter. However, I still prefer other O Chem textbooks that limit their important terms to a few foundational concepts.

This is the best book for organic chem. I love colors and detail.

This classic of Septuagint and text critical studies remains indispensable. This edition includes Muraoka's Hebrew/Aramaic index, which we used to have to buy separately.

This book is an excellent resource. But, you must be warned: it's written in Greek. I am someone who loves to do research, and I especially love to research the Bible, but this book is hard. You just need to know that. There are few English prompts or guides.I found exactly what I was looking for, but it was very time-consuming because it is written in Greek. I did a lot of cross referencing with an Interlinear Bible and Strong's Exhaustive Concordance with Hebrew and Greek (and of course, the Septuagint).But, if you are a die-hard studier of the Bible and want to cross reference some definitions between the Greek New Testament, the Greek Septuagint and the Hebrew Old Testament, this book is priceless. It holds some keys to obscure meanings.

I really like this classic concordance. I am sure over time computer programs will replace their work, but in print it is a great volume to use.

I have seen its limitations and occasional errors enough to know that they are the exception that proves the rule of exactness that was the m.o. of Messieurs Hatch & Redpath.Some contend that computers and databases now take the place of this incessantly reissued anthology of information.I doubt it.

I attended a special exhibit of Morisot in Quebec. I was so inspired by the artist I immediately ordered the book of this special exhibit. Truly one of the greatest Impressionist painters who is sadly often ignored in the shadows of Monet and others. A magnificent painter with a unique style and subject matter. A real path forger for women!
