In my entire life as a driver, some 53 odd years, I've never had a car that I didn't buy the Chilton's book for. You'd be surprised how much money this kind of thing can save you. Even for little things. You can always find what you're looking for and you don't have to be a mechanic to have it pay for itself over the life of your car.I come from an era where everyone worked on their cars, so maybe I'm a little biased, but there are times many of us need to do something that you'd think should be simple and yet it's not obvious. Find the right section in this book, and it becomes obvious.

This is a good book, detail enough with pictures. However, it would be nice if it has an electronic version available rather than a thick paper book. An electronic version will make search functions much more efficiently. I also bought a shop manual in a DVD-ROM from another popular website with cheaper prices. The wordings of the two are almost the same but this one has more pictures which are not really necessary.

A real Godsend. The wiring diagrams helped me track down the cause of the dash gauges going to zero (replacing the gauge assembly could have been a big and costly job). Turned out to be light corrosion on a ground connection under the hood,-- an easy and quick fix.

What we've all come to know and love from this technical manual outfit. The fact that it's covering 8 year's worth of different models makes it somewhat imprecise, but most of the info needed for self service work is there.

Just use the internet. Many of the most common repairs that can be done in your garage to save a tremendous amount of money are left out of the book and you are instructed to take the vehicle to a repair shop. One example is wheel bearing replacement.

It says it covers 2002 thru 2010 explores and mountaineer..I have a 2006 mountaineer ..abaloutly nothing in this book for my mountaineer..and nothing on the explorer after 2005 so if you have a 2006 or newer don't waist the momey..try one of the online services like alldata..the Haynes manual is the same as this same company owns both

Pale Horse paved the way for many other books on the Secret of the Ages and other "conspiracy" theory books.In this audio version, Cooper reads the text himself, which is sort of a double edged sword. While he is far from having the best voice for audio books, by nature of the author reading his own material it is read with his original intended inflection - I'm sure he would have it no other way anyway, having hosted his own radio show for years.Don't listen to the naysayers and skeptics - Cooper, once a military intelligence agent, was no conspiracy theory wacko... while all the content of Behold a Pale Horse may not be correct, the book will, and should, change your life and lead you on a never ending search for the zeitgeist of our time.

Well, I bought this book because I'm on a search for truth, doesn't matter what truth, just real truth. Every truth I can discover for myself. The real truth about what is really going on, on the earth, to our people, who make the entire globe function as a whole, is the TRUTH OF DECEPTION AND LIES. IT IS PURE EVIL,GREED, CORRUPTION AND LIES. I love this book, William Cooper, engaged himself in a one man stand against evil to all this deception to expose it, for all of us. He is in my opinion, a man of integrity, love and courage. Read it for yourself, take a risk and imagine that you too have been deceived all your life, and the truth has been kept from you and everyone you love, even all your ancestors and friends who passed on, never ever knowing they had the truth hidden from them.

Scott Robertson graduated with honors with a B.S. degree in Transportation Design in April 1990. SCOTT ROBERTSON is one of the BEST artists making books. I have every one. He has such wonderful creativity and process. He shows great variety and skill. If you have not seen his work ----YOU ARE IN FOR A TREAT.

I should preface my review with an admission that I am a fan of the books that design studio press puts out and Scott Robertson's work (some of these other artists are fantastic but new to me). The books have always been fantastic visual explorations and Scott Robertson has always been incredibly open in showing his methods, ideas, techniques, and design philosophy.Blast is a...um...blast! The book does a great job of showing the thought process in developing these ships with everything from pencil sketches and marker comps to well detailed digital paintings and renderings. These iterations and final works give a great breakdown of the development that goes into pushing an initial concept through periods of exploration and iteration before finally taking them to something that feels like it has a place in this imaginative universe of spaceships, flying racers, and their environments... zooming through atmospheres, resting in hangers and launching from futuristic spaceports. I think blast is for anyone that is into creating or learning concept art, 3d modeling studies, and just outright fans of science fiction art. Another awesome book from designstudio press!

I love Scott Robertson and team's vehicle design books and this one does not disappoint!!I own mostly the hard cover versions of all their different books.Great layout and book design and the illustrations are just awesome design work and very inspirational.Blast has lots of solid flying designs and the execution is right up there with the illustration quality on par or better than you'd find in design concept books! Even those from my all time favorite visual futurist/illustrator Syd Mead!Must have, must read for any designer or sci-fi/fantasy art fans.

I do not know why I had being "SUPER LUCK" to receive a damaged book twice. And no one else got the same problem as me. The boxes were fine. But the books are damaged. Actually the second one is better than the first one. But still a little. As you can see the picture it's teared from middle.

Anything that Scott Robertson does is masterful and this Hardback Professional Bound book with beautiful quality pages in gloss and heavy stock is a must for anyone who love imagingatrion but also a must for how one's rendering should look like throughout their carrier!

I am a big fan of Scott Robertson and his fellow artists. I usually buy these books for inspiration and appreciation for science fiction art. This book does not disappoint. I can always look through it over and over and see something new and inspirational.

What's not to like? Sketches provide some great ideas if you're an artist or model-maker. Robertson's style shows clearly in this book.

I was thinking it'd be closer to the old Stewart Cowley "Spacecraft: 2000-2100" Terran Trade Authority format, but it's a lot more conceptual with very little story to supplement the art.

Overall a great read where 500 pages flew by. A fascinating look into how Luckey greatly contributed to the VR world and was abruptly tossed from it because of politics. A highly recommended read whether you’re into VR or not.

I'm a large fan of what Blake did with immortalizing the story behind Sega and Nintendo, as I was a student in marketing, it was a fascinating story that shined a light on a great deal of how the industry had worked during the wild west.Of course, gaming has become more and more corporate and calculated as time has gone on, but there's a new frontier that people are trail-blazing and that is Virtual Reality. This book is a coherent piece of nonfiction, that tells the stories of those that are currently revolutionizing what entertainment and escapism means.I was instantly hooked by Blake's first couple chapters and his writing chops are at full-force yet again with this book. Definitely check it out whenever you can as soon as possible.

I've been following VR for a while now and this book gives a great insight into its early development. Very interesting story with plenty of drama and interesting characters. The author gives a very balanced and nuanced view of some controversial topics.

This is a great read, providing the reader with an excellent history, told from the people who made it, of how Oculus went from a project being tinkered on in a trailer in Orange County, CA to a Multi-Billion dollar acquisition by Facebook. That story alone is worth the cost of admission, but the book then goes into great detail on how Oculus changed under its parent company and the hysteria surrounding Palmer Lucky's political beliefs. The reader is taken on a journey, with no judgment from the author and instead an earnest view of the facts as presented by the sources interviewed.

Not really well written. Like maybe it was his first book and possibly rushed. Funky dialog between characters. Needs help from better authors for future works.

Incredible story, very well-written and engaging. Does an excellent job of opening your mind to beliefs you may strongly hold. They'll make a movie of this, mark my word.

I received this book yesterday and I couldn't put it down. Blake's writing is imaginative yet and you feel like a true fly on a wall for this transformative journey. I felt the jubilation, pain, anguish, joy of the main character Palmer. Highly recommended!!!! 10/10

This book is hysterical - and I don't hunt or fish! Patrick McManus, based on his stories, is not a successful hunter or fisherman -- but he sure tries! (I suspect he's quite successful.) This is laugh-out-loud material. His books are a series of short stories and each one is either from his childhood, his college days, or his adult life. Regardless of where he was in life, you'll just crack up at his misfortunes. All of his book are like this. I highly recommend them and you truly need not be an outdoors person to enjoy them.

I've loved Pat's book from the day they were published and own most, if not all of them in paperback. I was pleased to find them offered in the Kindle store as it makes it so easy to carry several hundred volumes in one hand. If you like outdoor humor and being entertained by an eclectic lineup of lovable characters struggling with the trials of growing up outdoors this book is for you. I've re-read these numerous times and laugh just as hardily the 5th time as the first.

I love all these books. The first time I read one I was fourteen and laughed so hard I was just reduced to painful heaving and tears. There are so many great stories packed in this and McManus's other books! This is one of my favorites.

Patrick McManus has been described as the 'master of the metaphor' . His humor keeps listeners engaged and sometimes laughing themselves on the ground in camp. I use his stories as campfire reading to groups who, once exposed, beg for another.

Dry humor, wet humor, smelly humor, it's a fun book, along with most of his other books. Some of the stories you can't read since tears are blurring the pages from laughing so hard.

Our kids learned to read by reading Pat McManus. We've laughed our way across the USA on long car trips reading his books aloud. Really funny stuff from Idaho for us Louisiana folk who claim on our license plates to live in "Sportsmans Paradise". We could relate to all the stories. Any outdoorsman could.

Patrick McManus is a genius author. I have laughed myself silly over his books for many years, and I find myself re-reading his books on a regular basis and finding that they never get old. McManus has a gift for comedic writing that few others have, and his books are always a pleasure to read

One of the better books in the series. We live in the same area as the author so we can really relate. Short chapters is you need a quick chuckle.
